Job Description

Our Client, a Greater Manchester Council, is seeking an Adult's Assistant Team Manager to join their Mental Health Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

Support the Team Manager in the day-to-day operational leadership of the Mental Health Team Supervise, mentor, and support Social Workers and Social Care staff Manage and oversee complex mental health and safeguarding cases Ensure high-quality, strengths-based practice in line with the Care Act and Mental Health Act Support effective care planning, reviews, and risk management Chair case discussions, professionals’ meetings, and best-interest decision-making Quality-assure assessments, reports, and statutory documentation Work closely with health partners within integrated mental health services Support service performance, workload management, and practice improvement Deputise for the Team Manager as required

Requirements of this role:

Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. Must have minimum of 3 year's post qualifying experience.
