Accounts Assistant - Part time

Working Pattern: 2 days per week - Tuesday and Thursday (8.30am - 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities
Carry out credit control activities, including professionally chasing overdue payments Assist with sales ledger duties, including raising invoices and allocating payments Manage accounts email inboxes, ensuring timely responses and prioritisation Set up and process bank payments Match purchase orders to delivery notes Reconcile fuel receipts with invoices Process credit notes and support bulk processing tasks Review drivers' corporate card statements Identify and follow up on missing invoices Manage petty cash transactions Issue customer statements Provide general administrative support to the Finance team
Requirements
Previous experience in an accounts assistant or finance administration role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication skills, particularly for credit control Ability to manage workload independently Proficiency in MS Office and Sage
