Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join the team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility while continuing to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.The RoleAs an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting services to a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. Responsibilities will include:Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients including limited companies, partnerships and sole tradersReviewing accounts prepared by junior team members and providing constructive feedbackProduction of management accounts and supporting analysis for clientsAssisting with audit assignments where required, providing cover during peak periodsLiaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide ongoing supportSupporting managers and partners with ad-hoc assignments as requiredThis role offers the opportunity to take ownership of work and develop strong client relationships, while working within a collaborative and technically strong team.The CandidateWe are keen to speak with individuals who are motivated, technically capable and comfortable taking responsibility for their work.The ideal candidate will have:AAT qualification (or equivalent)At least three years’ experience working within a modern and progressive accountancy practiceExperience preparing statutory accounts and management accountsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailThe confidence to work independently and communicate effectively with clientsExposure to audit work would be advantageous but is not essential.The OpportunityJoining this well-regarded independent firm offers a genuine opportunity to progress within a supportive and professional environment.
