7.5 Tonne Driver – Trafford Park, Manchester
People Solutions are looking for a 7.5 Tonne Drive r to join our client based in Trafford Park, Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
DBS check required
The ideal candidate must hold a Category C1 & Category C Licence
Driver will be mainly using 7.5t but sometimes also a class 2 vehicle
Shifts
• Monday to Friday • 07:00 starts • Average 9-10 hours per day
Rates of Pay
7.5 Tonne Driver:
£14.56/h
£21.84/h OT after 45 hours
HGV Class 2 Driver:
£18.40/h
£27.60/h OT after 45 hours

Day-to-Day Duties
• Operating 7.5t (Category C1) and Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing collections in local area • Ensuring all loads are safe, secure and correctly loaded • Providing excellent customer service at each delivery and collection • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and presentation • Complying with UK traffic laws and driver regulations
Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category C1 and C licence (held for a minimum of 1 year) • Minimum one year's experience driving Category C1 or C vehicles • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards • No more than six penalty points (minor offences only) • Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic • Good communication and customer service skills
Training Provided
• Full site assessment • Industry-related training with ongoing support
