A highly regarded Legal 500 law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its well-established and growing Southampton-based Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected practice known for delivering high-quality work to an impressive client base across both the public and private sectors. The team advises a broad range of clients including investors, developers, banks, corporate occupiers, local authorities, and charities, and is widely recognised for its technical expertise and collaborative approach. The Role The successful candidate will enjoy a varied and high-quality workload, supporting prestigious clients on high-value and complex transactions within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work both independently and as part of a supportive wider team, with scope to take on increasing responsibility as your experience develops. Typical work will include:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, leases, licences, transfers and deeds Advising on retail leasing and asset management matters Supporting mixed-use and development projects Undertaking and reporting on due diligence, including title review and enquiries Liaising directly with clients and counterpart solicitors Arranging indemnity insurance and working with brokers and underwriters Attending client meetings and all-parties meetings Contributing to business development and networking initiatives
About You
Qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in commercial real estate Broad-ranging experience across commercial property transactions Confident managing matters with an appropriate level of autonomy Strong drafting, organisational and communication skills Commercially minded and client-focused Enjoys working collaboratively within a high-performing team
